Hi Everyone,

Sorry that I have not been around the past two months. But due to some medical set backs I have not been able to do so. However I have still been able to handle your reservations for the Johnny Charro and Saturday Night Dances. I hope that we did not drop the ball and that everyone was taken care off. Thanks to everyone that helped with the seating and the coffee and cakes. As I understand it things are in the works to bring in some very special bands over the next few months. Talk to your friends and ask them to come on in for some good old dancing to the big band sounds.

I see where a few of our dancers have recovered and are starting to come back. The Charro dances keep packing them in. I see that the hall rentals are getting bigger. The Hillsborough High reunion was a great success and money maker. On Saturday August 9th there will not be a dance. The VFW has rented the hall for there Commanders Home coming, it will also be a money maker for the Post. The taxes, licenses and insurances are due.

Installation of all officers of all our units will be on August the 3rd at 2:00 pm. There will be a spaghetti sit down dinner. Thanks to our new Auxiliary President Rosella Lyle. Hope to see you all there.
